Naming y Identidad Corporativa
Esta empresa se dedica al catering de cocktails, pero desde un enfoque moderno e innovador. Mantienen un local en Oviedo que les sirve de laboratorio-showroom y en el que se dedican a investigar y desarrollar nuevas propuestas. Esta voluntad de innovación la tradujimos en el nombre I+Drink, y lo declinamos a mundos más emocionales como I+Funk, I+Soho, I+Moloko, I+Sinatra o I+Wow! La barra se ha hecho a partir de módulos independientes y móviles, para ser utilizados tanto de manera fija en el local como para poder ser transportados en los eventos exteriores, y están inspirados en las cajas que utilizan los DJ’s en sus conciertos.

Valoración del jurado:
“Feliz encuentro entre un buen encargo y un buen proyecto. Un local fresco, dinámico, rompiendo moldes y asumiendo nuevos retos sin ningún tipo de complejo. La posibilidad de trasladar las barras del local para su uso como módulos de catering le confieren un carácter nómada muy contemporáneo. En definitiva, un proyecto completo: tecnología, diseño interior, diseño gráfico, diseño industrial y algún toque de frescura efímera.”

La barra
Se construye a partir de módulos móviles y transportables en forma de “flight cases” (contenedores de instrumentos para conciertos, usados tanto por músicos como por DJ’s). Con esta idea y bajo la marca “I+Drink on tour” se pretende solucionar varias necesidades: la de agilizar la producción y transporte desde Barcelona y sobre todo, para comunicar, de una forma implícita, el servicio de caterings y eventos (la otra pata creativa muy importante de la empresa). Cada módulo es una “célula” independiente para los distintos usos: almacén, lavavajillas, estación de trabajo, tirador de cerveza, etc. Y cada uno está marcado por una aplicación gráfica con un número de referencia. Por tanto la barra puede ser usada de forma fija y permantente en el local, o ser transportada por módulos a cualqueir tipo de evento.
El sofá
Está hecho también de módulos independientes a modo de pixels que permiten configuraciones casi infinitas. El cliente puede de esta manera formar la combi-nación que más le apetezca, dependiendo por ejemplo del número de personas.

The jury said:
“Merry meet between a good briefing and a good project. A cool and dynamic space, breaking molds and taking on new challenges without any complex. The possibility of moving the local bars for use as catering modules gives it a very contemporary nomad feeling. In short, a complete project: technology, interior design, graphic design, industrial design and a touch of ephemeral freshness.»
This company is dedicated to the world of cocktails, but from a modern and innovate approach. The client decided to open a different cocktail bar, with its own life beyond bartending, where the R+D and quality would be the engine of the project, and with the added intention of offering their knowledges through catering, equated to the protocols of good food catering.
From here emerges the naming/concept I+Drink (I+D in Spanish means R+D “Research and Development”) which is not only added to the concept of drinks, but to so many other connotations that help to explain the soul of the brand: I+Love, I+Wow!, I+E-mc2, I+Poison, I+Santiago de Cuba, I+Sinatra, I+Manhattan, I+Yes!, I+Drink on tour (for catering), etc…
They maintain in Oviedo (north of Spain) a local that serces as laboratory and showroom dedicated to investigate and develop new proposals.
We have applied the concept to all levels bearing in mind their place in the project: mobile bar, modular seats, lamps, dishes, waiters, façade, etc. We wanted to distinguish the bar, that is conceived in a way that it shows implicitly the relation that I+Drink has with the catering world. The bar is built as separate and mobile modules, each of them with a different function (the beer tap, bottle station, warehouse, dishwasher, etc). This way the modules can be used as a in house fixed bar or as a moving bar for possible events. The modules where designed inspired by “flight case” (containers of tools for music concerts) and graphic signs were added indicating the references for each use.
The sofa is also made of independent modules like pixels which allow almost endless configurations. The client can choose the best combination, depending for example on the number of people.
The sign on the façade was adapted so that it could be used (also) as outside bar and so keep the façade as simple as possible.
The bar
The idea builds on mobile and transportable modules like “flight cases” (containers for concert instruments, used by both musicians as DJ’s). With this idea and under the “I+Drink on tour” is to communicate, in an implicit way, the service catering and events (the other important aspect of this business). Each module is a independent “cell” for different uses: storage, dishwasher, workstation, beer tap, etc.. And each one is signed by a graphical application with a reference number. So the bar may be used permanently and in a fixed way, or be transported in modules to any type of event.
